The purpose of this book is to address a segment of the Church that goes unnoticed and, at times, seemingly unappreciated to let them know they are not alone. They are many pastors and ministries that have small congregations of 100 or fewer, even as small as fifty or fewer. Whereas a pastor with a church of 100 or more has people to take the load of the ministry off their shoulders, a leader of a small group does not. From finances to doing repairs on the meeting place to keeping the peace in the church, they are hands-on in almost every area. All this besides their issues in their family as well as trying to live an overcoming life themselves. On top of this trying to get a message for the congregation one, two, or three times a week.

In this book, you have the wisdom of 120-plus years of experience from ministers that have pastored small churches of 100 or less, even as low as eight, and been successful. Each chapter not only presents a real issue in Church life but also will give you the tools to:

  • Handle unexpected expenses!
  • Overcome the causes of burnout!
  • Destroy the negativity that confronts you in the area of respect!
  • Maintain your reputation without compromising your calling!
  • Do not get offended when church members rise against you!
  • Keep your family together by learning how to keep your identity in Christ separate from your calling as a minister!

We will conclude with actual victories that will encourage you to continue as the man/woman that Father God has called you to be. Always remember that at the end of the day, no matter what you have done or have not done, you are a ‘man/woman of God’, and nothing will change that.
